Design

A characteristic often associated with contemporary linen yarn is the presence of "slubs," or small knots which occur randomly along its length. Although once considered as defects, many contemporary linen textiles intentionally include slubs as part of the aesthetic appeal of a natural product, as they do not compromise the integrity of the fabric.
