Design

Cherry trees, planted in the US in 1912, were a gift of friendship from the people of Japan. Here, branches with blossoms from the flowering tree gracefully meander across the wall in a raised print on coarse textured linen. A subtle two-tone effect is rendered in each elegant colorway by incorporating fine, dyed yarns into the warp.
